Well written...

Last Kiss had an interesting premise and was very well written. I enjoyed the characters, especially Billy. He was very smart and likable, it wasn't hard to warm up to his personality. The negative aspect occurred when I reached the middle of the book, I got a little bored and kept putting it down. Fortunately, towards the end it took a turn for the better. The shocking twist was crazy, I would of never expected the outcome of Lisa's murder. Overall, it was an okay read, it's light yet dramatic. The summary just didn't live up to my expectations, I wanted more romance with Lisa and Billy, but I didn't get it.

A great murder mystery

Jon Ripslinger is an amazing author that really has a nack for writing audience pleasing young adult novels. In this story, the main character, Billy, has been seeing his crush secretively at night. Unfortunatly, the last time he goes to see her, is the last time he ever sees her. To make matters worse, he was the last one to see her alive. Murder mystery at it's best as this CSI style novel will keep the facts coming and keep your mind reeling. As a 9th grade English teacher, this is a classroom favorite...I have to keep 5 copies on hand!

Another good plot from Mr Ripslinger

I really enjoyed this book. I like Mr Ripslinger's style. I thought I had this plot all figured out and then at the end - twist!!! Who would have guessed? Then, when I thought it was all solved - twist again!! I have read all of the books from this author and enjoyed them all equally. Keep them coming.
