Excellent!

After checking this out from my local library (and being interested in historical archetecture), I had to purchase this book for myself. It provides an excellent overview of archeology and historical sites, including techniques for discovering these sites and methods of excavation. There are also plenty of examples (pictures) from many different civilizations, including Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Etruscan, Asian, Mayan, Inca and more.
