Perhaps the most difficult thing for a student for a foreign language to learn is the proper form and conjugation of verbs. This indispensable guide helps make sense out of the incomprehensible with conjugation tables for 12,000 verbs.
Great book - just what I needed, and a handy size to carry with me.
Bescherelle Spanish Verbs

I am currently a second year spanish student, and was in desperate need of a Spanish verb book. This book is excellent in the sense that it offers literally thousands(12 000 I think)of verbs, and conjugation tables as well that are easy to follow. The only fault was that when looking up the verb, there was no English definition given, so whenever working on a task, I would need a dictionary as well to tell me what the verb actually means. I still reccommend this book, because it is very efficient of giving you any verb conjugation right in your own pocket!
An excellent study tool for the high school Spanish student

I received this in 8th for Spanish 1 and am now taking Spanish III. It has been an excellent reference tool to help me confirm verb conjugations. The first section of the book explains verb usage and conjugation rules; things like conjugating verbs, irregularity patterns, uses of estar/ser, impersonal verb usage, etc. I don't find myself referencing this much, though. The second section is a rundown of model verbs; each verb takes up two pages, which show every possible conjugation/tense of that verb. There are 52 model verbs. The third section aims to be a large list of verbs; if a verb is a model verb, it is highlighted in red, and the page number is given. If the verb is not a model verb (the vast majority), the page number of the model verb that has identical conjugation properties is listed. For example, when I look up "mudar," which is not a model verb, I am directed to model verb 5, "cortar," which is conjugated in much the same way. The cover is a rugged vinyl that is much better than paperback. It still flexes much like a paperback, but does not tear easily because it feels like it is made of a plastic. Overall, I have not come across a verb that "Langenscheidt's Pocket Bescherelle" could not help me with (it claims to have about 12,000 verbs). It has been an indispensible study guide that I would not want to experience a Spanish education without.
