Captivating! Timely and sensible approach to successful gardening in your lousy climate, lousy soil,

Don't give up on gardening, seeds are developed to grow in very specific environments, which you likely do not live in. So...selectively choose seeds from those that make it, let them crossbreed with other varieties and SELECT for what grows in your environment. It is so simple, it is genius. DIVERSITY is the answer, promiscuous pollination... no record keeping, no formulas...as Mr. Lofthouse mentions, thousands of generations of illiterate gardners selecting for what works, have brought us the varieties we have today...so don't give up!
