Great adventure story!

"Land here? You Bet!" is a fascinating first-hand account of a young man's initiation into the adventurous world of bush piloting. Set in Alaska and British Columbia, the stories related here are sometimes harrowing and sometimes hilarious -- and the wonderful thing about them is that they are all true. The nitty-gritty realism of these accounts makes them all the more gripping. The book gave me an enormous appreciation of the resourcefulness and courage it takes to succeed at this dangerous line of work, and also a sense of the exhilaration this young pilot obviously felt whenever he climbed into the cockpit. This book rewards the reader with a delicious taste of what it must be like to pilot a little plane through a vast, untamed wilderness... what an adventure!
