Good primer for all IT personnel

I found this primer to be very informative, easy to read. This is an excellent source for programmers who need a quick down and dirty introduction to LAN's. It will make a good reference book in any Libary. However this book is slightly outdated as it refers to the latest technology being Pentium I 120Mz. This book obviously doesn't include any developments released since 1995. I would try to find this book in a used IT book store before I paid full price.
