The hero and heroine meet when the heroine and her less adventurous friend attempt a Robin Hoodesque robbery of the hero's coach. They mistakenly believe the coach belongs to a swindler who is out to get a friend. The heroine (aided by her friend) is in the process of running away to escape a marriage of convienence. Upon meeting the hero and discovering that this is actually her intended she decides he has tremendous potential as a husband. They abort the plan and sneak back to the estate so the heroine can formally meet him. I really liked the development of the adventurous and romantic plot. I also liked how smitten our hero was with the heroine. There is a great exchange of sparkling repartee between the main characters. I also liked how the author developed the discovery of the deception. Snap it up.
