you can have your cheese and eat it too!!

In addition to a plethora of GREAT recipes, Lactose Free and Loving It provides practical information on living lactose free: how to cut lactose with out totally cutting dairy, taste bud friendly dairy substitutes, etc. Although I am not lactose intolerant, I use this cook book to confidently cook for my lactose intolerant friends. I now cook some of my favorite cheesy dishes positive none of my guests will leave the table with a tummy ache!

I purchased this cookbook a while back and although I haven't tried all the recipes, the ones I have tried I really liked. My husband is crazy about the "Best Chocolate Cake Ever"!! I have made it 3 times already. It's different because you use boiling water and the batter is thin. But it bakes up real moist. I also loved the Manicotti and the Baked Potato Soup. It was delicious!! I think you will love this cookbook even if you are not lactose intolerent. You can just use real dairy instead.
