this a good book and it shows how is mexico, it will never change, qndo how the friends were and are chosing themselves.

A must have for contemporary mexican politic followers

This is an excellent book for those who want to have a behind the scenes information by the protagonist themselves (the ex-presidents) of the last 24 years of modern day Mexico. The author's interviews with the last four presidents are really engaging no matter what image or personal opinion you have about any of this four ex- presidents, this chats that the author made will confirm some of the secrets that are heard almost everywhere about the presidential institution in Mexico and its context. You may agree or disagree, or you may love them or hate them, but the really interesting part would be hearing first hand what do they say about their presidency and the context it involved. Sometimes you even want to debate some of their ideas and sometimes you even may empathy with the man but you wont stay indiffrent. An engaging book, only gave it four stars just because only one of the surviving presidents was missing, and that is the one in power. Nevertheles this book its a testimony of some of the ideas and events behind the men that we call "Presidente".
