Dar este această călătorie cea care ?i dezvăluie argonautului misterul și frumusețea existenței. Fiecare poem din carte reprezintă o ?nsemnare din jurnalul de bord al acelei corăbii. On the shores of the Great Lakes, an emigrant remembers his native lands that resemble those of the American Midwest prairie. As Ulysses, on an imaginary boat, he sets off home. The journey to the dreamland Ithaca turns out, however, to be towards a shore from which no one has ever returned. Nevertheless, it is this journey that reveals to the argonaut the mystery and beauty of existence. Each poem in the book represents a note in the board log of that boat.
