While appearing in the series for two years, Charlene married Scott Robinson, played by Jason Donovan, in an episode watched by nearly 20 million viewers in the UK, making it one of the most watched Australian TV episodes ever. Kylie then became a recording artist, having had great commercial success, while receiving wide critical acclaim, being known by several nicknames including "Princess of Pop" and "Goddess of Pop". Returning to more mainstream, dance-oriented music, Minogue signed to Parlophone to release Light Years, with her followup, Fever, being a hit in many countries, including the United States. The lead single "Can't Get You Out of My Head" became one of the most successful singles of the 2000s, selling over ten million copies. It became recognised as her "signature song," being named "the catchiest song ever" by Yahoo Music.
