Beautiful illustrations

This book has many beautiful images of Kuan Yin. I really enjoyed reading through it and seeing all the different types of Kuan Yin. Great book for any collection.

An experiential journey that feeds the soul.

From the moment I picked up this book I was saturated with the energy of Kuan Yin. Yes, even before I opened it, it spoke to my heart. It doesn't hold a lot of intellectual rehashing of ancient ideas, it holds actual technique to connect with the Bodhisattva Herself and experience her love, light and compassion within. You can think about it all you want, but the journey of Kuan Yin is to be experienced through the heart and this book is a valuable guide for you travels. Thank you so much Daniela Schenker for this valuable gift you have given.

A Visual Delight

While I was expecting a bit more substance, I thoroughly enjoyed the illustrations. As I am a visual person, the images of Kuan Yin's many manifestations were of great assistence in understanding the compassion this goddess is renowned for. I am still in the process of reading what I suspect to be the perfect compliment to the above book.
