Action packed detective/mystery novel

I enjoyed reading this fast paced novel over a recent weekend. The historical tie-in with some civil war soldiers and their mysterious mission got me hooked right away. It has a wide variety of characters and an interesting plot. I found the descriptions of the cavern with it's ancient Native American dwellings and artifacts especially fascinating. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Great Detective Book

This is a great detective novel. Serra's writing invests you in the characters and the threading of the plot was wonderful. I rank this as one of the best novels I've read this year.
