Must have

This is a must have. if you are an upper level student, resident or graduate veterinarian in small animal practice you need this book in your library. The series constantly delivers. Warning, this is not a book for anyone else. Don't waste your money. If you are in the trenches, this is one of your 5 must have books.

Great ongoing reference... topics change from edition to edition. Hey, it's Kirk at a good price!

Very readable and well laid out

Some of us have no choice but to purchase this book for board prep, but I recommend this book to anyone working as a veterinarian - the chapters are easy to read and the editor has done an excellent job in updating the layout as well as content compared to other editions. There is also the promise of being able to access contant online, although that is not up yet (Sept '08).
