This book is a collection of photographs taken in King's Cross between 2011 and 2015. The area was undergoing a transformation as a once industrial landscape was seeing buildings restored and new ones built. One of the first new residents was Central Saint Martins in 2011 bringing immediate cultural capital to the changing area. The Mobile Pictures Series and the selection of images in this book pay homage to analogue, instant, and mobile photography while capturing glimpses of the everyday in King's Cross. This work, in part, documents Ronan Haughton's relationship with the places he traveled to or worked in. The narratives in this series of books are not always in the order in which an account or sequence of events occurred and there are also images that are dreamlike, abstract or magical, which skew any attempt at linear storytelling.
