Captivating and Intriguing

I decided to get this book after hearing of the recommendations. This book kept me captivated and I could not put it down. I kept asking myself what comes next because there was always a twist. Absolutely was intrigued and would recommend this book to fantasy lovers.

Love it!

I love this book and i haven’t even finished it! I am about to pick up the second book and i can’t wait for the third book to be released

A little confusing

I'm conflicted... I loved the world and Maniscalco's writing, but I was kind of confused by the end. The different bonds and magics going on left me completely out of my depth so I felt like I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I did love the characters, and I'll definitely reread it so maybe I'll understand it better then! Still, definitely a 4 star read!
