A Terrific Read

For anyone interested in Lord Kenneth Clark, Meryle Secrest writes an incredibly interesting biography. You will want to read her 'Being Bernard Berenson' too once you've finished this one. There is a wonderful mix of art and art world biographical data along with deliciously gossipy details which makes you love Clark all the more. Kenneth Clarks' 'Civilisation' (DVD) still presents as one of the greatest television programs of all time. Clark was one of the greats! Secrest does a beautiful job.
