Charming. Right up there with Tara Road, etc.

The writer was amusing, witty. I loved the story - she knows her history and she weaves a fabulous tale of love and mystery. I would recommend this highly to anyone who wants a page-turner that is more than just a romance. I like to learn something from every book I read. Ms. Brownleigh includes enough historical detail without bogging down the story.
