A very interesting mystery

This book kept me guessing, what the woman and her captor were going to do next. One minute I think they are going to fall in love and live happily every after then the next they are at each others throats. Nancy thinks he some sort of homicidal raptist and he thinks she's the most beautiful creature to walk this earth and doesn't want to harm her in anyway. They are both experiencing something they have both longed for; love and affection of another human being. I must admit this was great suspense and kept me guessing what would happen next. Just to let you know I read this book in one night because I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read more of Michael Garrett. He's at the top of my list of authors to read.

A reversal of "Misery" - Well crafted

After meeting Michael Garrett at a Gardenia Press Writer's Conference, I purchased a copy of "Keeper" for review. I was impressed by his unique storyline and realistic characters. An unappreciated wife, rescued by the protagonist following the car accident that claimed her husbands life, finds herself in the arms of a recluse. She owes this man her life, but does he expect more than gratitude? Wayne is desperate for love and craves the attention Nancy Barnett can give him. In her quest to escape, his kindness touches her and she drops her guard, savoring the attention her husband never gave her. How can a man that physically restrains her, speak to her with such kindness? Will he release her? Does she want to go?This was a good read. I enjoyed the book immensely.

A Definite

This book is definitly a "must read!" It's a very hard book to put down. I read it in one day. I read a lot of books, but "Keeper" rates highest on my list. This is truly a great suspense novel about a girl held captive by a man who longs to be her keeper. Michael Garrett captured the attention and the heart of the reader very early in this book. It's because of "Keeper" that I would be very eager to read anything else written by this author. I have shared this book with many and they all agree that "Keeper" is definitely a "keeper" and we would all love to see it out as a movie some day!I can't say enough about this great book and it's author, Michael Garrett!
