Favorite book series!!!

This book is amazing! It is the first book in one of my favorite books of all time. Sophie is 12 years old and she will face a lot of challenges (both magical and not). I really hope you read this book!

Great book for for teens!

Amazing book! My 15 year old daughter loved it! Very suspenseful and never knew what would happen next! I would definitely recommend this book.

Ages 11+, fantasy

This book has excitement and adventure for a young woman, and young men- it brings Elves to reality and crosses worlds. Be aware, subtly put in the book is a main character who's very naive, and readers are basically told it's okay for her to not process these situations or talk to her earth family about it. she should really have a chaperone, as the choices she makes leads her right into danger. First, she runs off with a "good looking" guy, thinking that she doesn't know him, mentioning it aloud, but still goes with him. I think she's desperate to understand her health issues, so she just let's him verbally persuade her to go with him. She's told to immediately trust a new group of people, leave her family, there's instances that she is by herself with an adult stranger-example told she needs a physical and is led into a room left by herself with a man who's the doctor, she's never met. All sorts of safety red flags, so keep discussion open in real life with your reader. No one offers therapy for the trauma she endures, because Elves live forever...book 2 they kind of address these issues, but I guess that's part of the Elves world.

Wow

I didn't think I was going to love this book, but I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the other books

This series has me hooked

I start a lot of books and cast many aside largely because the story line is vapid and without substance. This series is refreshing in that I quickly became hooked and wanted to know what was going to happen next.

I really enjoyed this book!

It was an exciting read and I can't wait to get the rest of the series! My only complaint is it seems like the main character doesn't really have any close girl friends but lots of guy friends and all of them seem to have a crush on her or she has a crush on them and that doesn't seem very healthy. Maybe this will change and balance out in the rest of the series. Other than that it was fast paced and sucked me right in!
