Karen takes her first airplane ride alone on her way to visit her grandparents in Nebraska. Baby-sitters Little Sister Super Special #2. This description may be from another edition of this product.
karen flies to nebraska to stay with her granny and grandad for two weeks and she doesn't like it at first cause there is no tv and so on, but she gets used to it and does a lot of interesting things that make her trip very enjoyable. She tends to a vegetable garden, feeds the animals, watches chicks hatch, learns how to make a salad, learns how to knit, learns how to make board games and potato print wrapping paper from a new friend, has sleepovers in hammocks and has a vegetable sale. Only thing that is a bit unrealistic is the special treatment karen gets on the plane as if she's sitting in first class and autographing pictures she coloured for the people she shared the plane with, get over yourself karen! lol good read though, the activities at the back are fun too and relate to the story.

This is one of Ann's greatest! It is also one of the super specials. Karen is exicited because this is the first time she will be going on an airplane by herself to her grandparents farm! She is really excited...until she gets there. Then she wants to go home. Then she changes her mind and there are lots of adverntures in the book!
Oh it was a great book!
