Just another review

This volume is exceptional, just like all the other ones. A lot of mysteries are solved in this book but some other mysteries pop up too. I suggest you buy this book... you won't regret it.

Kamichama Karin

I really love Kamichama Karin. I've collected the whole set. I kind of recommend older mature kids to read it, like from 12+. Let's just say that volumes 3 and 6 are kind of, ahem, ODD. I shall not tell you what oddness it is, as I do not want to be a spoiler. But overall, Kamichama Karin is a super funny story!!

Kazune and Karin!!

OK, I love this series! Spoilers ahead! This book introduces the weirdest character in any manga I've EVER read: Micchi hate 'im. He introduces him self to the class, and on the way to his seat, hears Karin's name, gives her a kiss on the cheek. He's apparently heard of her before. Then, he hears Kazune's name and gives him a kiss on the lips (a random girl: must..e-mail..everyone!). He then starts flirting with Karin relentlessly, despite the fact that she hates it. Once, he grabs her, despite her protests, and gives Kazune a mysterious look, along the lines of "hey, look, I can hug her. Ha,ha." Could Kazune like Karin? The book ends with him pinning down Kazune, saying that he owes him a favor. Hmm... I love the romantic tension and fights!! ;P

Kamichama Karin...

My daughter writes: "I LOVE Kamichama Karin. It is about a 7th grader who thinks she's all alone. She discovers that the ring, left to her by her mother, gives her the abillity to become a godess. She is very clueless to these powers and seeks help from her new friends. I could NOT put it down!"

Hilarious and incredibly cute

I've always been a fan of Donbe-san's work, but she is also most well known for her series Digi Charat. Though I've never seen it, Kami chama Karin definitely shows some of the humor that she's(Donbe-san) known for in her other series. The artwork is beautiful, and the random side comments and humor make me laugh. I definitely enjoyed this alot more than Pita-ten (which was cute, but kind of too cheesy for me) Karin is one of the stronger female main character types, so not so much of that whiney wussy stuff... Similar age group as well, barely hitting puberty, but it fits the style of drawing. Still the love hate relationship between Kazune (Main male character) and Karin, mixed in with some suspiciously familiar history of them having godlike powers from somewhere in their family line... Oh well, I'm really lookin forward to the next one anyway :D I wish that the original chapter cover images inside were of higher quality though.. the ones in the book look like really crummy photographs of bad scans in black and white.
