Best illustration of the Mountain

This is like a picture story book. Everything is detailed from Islamabad to the Summit. And yes you can see the best shot of Bottle Neck in this book.

Edge of your seat reading!

This is one of the most gripping stories. It's hard to believe that it is a true story. You will gasp for breath as Jim details their ascent up K2 and will cry as he painfully recounts the descent. Even if you are not a mountaineer or even have any interest in it, this story is more about friendship, success, triumph, and loss. I would also suggest Jim's book, RISKING ADVENTURE, detailing his other journeys. Although Jim was not an author by profession, he has the gift for narrative writing that keeps you interested page by wonderful page. ENJOY!
