great book for guys

Great conclusion to the series I like how his fantasy doesn't get as wordy as a Tolkein book. both excellent writers in their own sense but this book was just right for me.

A Worthwhile read

I picked up this book before the rest of the series for a reading report in High School. I instantly fell in love with the thought of corresponding frames and wished to read the rest of the series. Unfortunatly, for me the excitment went downhill from there. I will always consider this book the best of the series and recomend it to anyone who loves fantasy writings.

A great conclusion to the Apprentice Adept trilogy!

The book just keeps building and building at a manic pace, to produce one the craziest, most chaotic endings to a book and a series ever. It is really one of Anthony's best series...part of me wishes he'd kept the series to just the first three, but the second "trilogy" was also really good. But if you like adventurous (i.e. creative) fantasy, read this series.... And Sheen has quite a will for a robot.

If you ever read one book...make it this one!

This by far is the greatest book by Piers Anthony I have ever read. I read most of the book in school and stopped about half way through chapter Xanadu for about 3 months. When I started to read it again I was so hooked on the events and action unfolding that I read the rest of the book the same day. If you ever read one book in your lifetime, make it this one. Juxtaposition was such a good book, and had the best ending I've seen anywhere, that I found myself wishing that one day I would fall asleep and wake up in this very world that I had read about.I just wish that Mr. Anthony would have continued the series with Stile still shifting between worlds seeing Sheen to further develope their relationship. With all things considered this is the best book I've ever read. I hope Piers Anthony never stops writing.

Wonderful Ending to a Wonderful Story

Wow. That has always been the first word out of my mouth after I finish this book, which I've read eight or nine times. While Piers Anthony haters and people who believe that sex has no place in fiction will become angry with his use of sex as humor and plot, the rest of the population should love it. The concepts introduced in this novel bring it away from the total "softcore" fantasy of the first two novels, while not making it into the "hardcore" Tolkien variety. Personally, I thought the ending to this book was the best I'd seen in a long time.
