total waste of time

this reads like a diary of an insane person. I guess it would be a good psychological study of the stalker mentality. I got caught up in the plot, but threw the book into the trash/garbage—something that has only been the fate of one or two books in the past 30 years. I am embarrassed to have spent any precious time reading it.
