I use to hate reading. One day I was in the bookstore I noticed the Clearwater Crossing books. I got book #1 and I didn't start reading it till i had it for over a month. I got around to reading it and I LOVED it. In the past 3 months I've read through book #5 and I'm starting on #6. Also I've got 2 friends of mine hooked on the books.
As a newcomer to the series I am very pleased!

I was looking through the racks at the book store just trying to find something interesting when I picked up Just Friends. I remembered reading in a magazine that Clearwater Crossing was a good series so I thought I'd try it out. Unfortunatly, the store didn't have any of the first 4 so I began with #5. I was completely surprised and blown away! I didn't like the book, I loved the book. I've never read anything that comes this close to real life. The situations are highly believable, and are very down to earth. I love how the author can introduce so many emotions, feelings, and characters into one book yet still was able to keep it in a calm, real-life setting. The only thing I was a little saddened by was the lack of Christian faith she wrote into them. The book after all is adveritsed as a teen Christian series. She did have the characters help out with church and sport Christian examples, but I was disappointed that they were not overly eager to share their faith with non-Christians. However, overall I thought this was an excellent book. I would recommend it to many friends. Somehow I get this feeling that I'll be hooked on the series for awhile. If you're ever in a book store wandering around looking for something good to read, I urge you to pick up Clearwater Crossing. I couldn't put it down, and I don't think you'll be able to either!
A touching memento

The reason I love clearwater crossing books is that they are so much like reality. This book was sad because I just broke up with my boyfriend and then in the book Ben gets refused for a date so just all of it is sad. Maybe it's me being in an emotional state, but I think anyone having just broke up should read this book. Either to get mad or softened, (it depends on whom broke up with whom) I also know you should listen to soft slow music like jazz or maybe even classical. One think you shouldn't listen to is rock or R & B because it'll make your heart beat faster and then you will want to finish the book. Don't rush through Just Friends, take your time to let the words and thoughts linger and be able to really understand what they mean. Maybe you are thinking right now "why should I listen to this wacko" Please don't think of me that way, I'm really a nice person and please take my advice. Cheers to CCHS!

I haveread every single book in this series and I would just love forthere to be more!!! The first book was great, but this latest book was the best. The budding relationship between Peter and Jenna, the deteriorating romance between Leah and Miguel, and the beginning friendship with Nicole and Jesse, kept me hanging from the start. I loved this book and I can't wait for the next one to come out next year!!
Great Book, Great Series

I thought this book was fantastic. The whole series is great, it deals with a lot of things we can relate to, like relationships and everything else people go through when they're in high school. And these are the only young adult books I've ever read that dealt with religion so openly. This book is probably my favorite in the series. I love all of the surprise it throws in, especially with Peter and Jenna!
