Just Beyond Reach - Terrific in the Classroom!

The poems in this book are terrific to introduce children to the world of descriptive writing and metaphor. The vivid descriptions coupled with the pictures are wonderful, leading the reader to imagine many objects before turning the page to find the picture of the object the poem is intended to describe. I love it! It is particularly useful in teaching writing to young students.
