This Journal is an attempt at simplicity. We use it in our family. The Junior Journal has four pages for each week. The lines are wider for young writers, and there are places for them to record People, Places, Events, a Reading List, Field Trips, Projects, Drawings, Favorite Facts, and Copywork. There is also a Table of Contents with blank spaces for your student to fill in each week's subject. If you are a planner, or are using a specific curriculum, you can fill them in ahead of time, or you can fill the Table in as you go. The Junior Journal is a great place for your student to record their history adventures with any of the following curriculums/approaches: Classical education, Charlotte Mason, Story of the World, The Mystery of History, Ambleside Online, and Living books, are popular examples.
