Sensible and Insightful...

Julia Williams' philosophy grows from theory rooted in a lifetime's experience of parenting, teaching, and learning. It would be difficult to find such a comprehensive discussion of the issues surrounding our schools presented in such a personal and entertaining way. In Education, trying apply sound theory to real life is every teacher's challenge; learning how to do it right is everyone's goal. The essays in this book teach exactly that, and they do it well.

The essays are both thought provoking and delightful. I laughed as I related to the stories and feelings and was also pushed to think about schools and teaching in new ways. A great read for both teachers and learners!
