This book differs slightly from other romance novels in that there's no sex scene (which, admittedly, is the draw for most romance novels). This book is described as an "inspirational romance" which means that Christianity and/or spirituality are plot points, but to the author's credut, she doesn't bludgeon the reader over the head with scriptures. The plot centers on a Christian music star named Sara Michaels (presumably modeled on someone like Amy Grant) who has been receiving threatening letters. Her manager, Meg, decides to hire a bodyguard and, to Sara's surprise, Meg hires an ex-cop named Sal Tucci (nicknamed Crow throughout the book). Sal and Sara aren't completely star-crossed, though; they both have a measure of faith, but Sara's faith is much stronger. My only complaint is the dark secret Sara harbors. I won't give it away, but I honestly thought it would be worse than what the author made it out to be. Otherwise, it's a decent romantic story that even teens would enjoy.
Great
