Joyce gave my mother a copy of this amazing book in 1963 when my parents were married. The recipes are wonderful and easy. I remember using the book with my mom as a child and now use it with my daughter. Bacon wrapped water chestnuts and spearibs are always on the table for new years and the children delight in making wontons at home. This is a must have for any cook who wants a taste of what we grew up on in Cambridge in the 60's and 70's- all of these recipes are still relevant today.

A wonderful book for beginning Chinese chefs. This book was recommended to me by my cooking instructor. My spareribs and egg rolls are the hit of the party when I make them. The receipts are easy to follow and the results are great!
