Joshua is another great book E. Traylor brings to life for the reader. She stays right along Bible lines in her novels, and I recommend these books of hers for light reading, easy to understand, and fun to read.

These books by Ellen Grunderson Traylor bring out the way life was in the old tstament. It is eyeopening to detail. My thoughts have changed and have made me see how humble one should be before God the Creator. My faith has taken on more importance in every way. Thank you Ellen
Amazing book! Both edgy and smooth, it's a surprising read.

I typically die of boredom when reading many Biblically based novels and stories. I probably shouldn't, but I think most people who've heard the same story over and over start to find it dull. This book was a startling change! One of the great surprises of my reading life, Joshua was an amazing read that never failed to be exciting, dangerous, awe-inspiring, and even romantic. It turned what to many has become a boring set of historical events into a thrilling ride. It's tense, well written, and won't let go. If I could afford to, I'd buy this book in bulk and give it to everyone I know for Christmas. It's that good. I heartily recommend both Joshua and, for a far longer read, Ellen Gunderson Traylor's "John, Son of Thunder." I have not yet finished the latter, but it is thus far rugged, yet beautiful and intensely personal.

Ellen Gunderson Traylor is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. She makes it very easy to visualize the story line. She takes the Bible and, with her style of writing, puts you right into the life of the character. I thoroughly enjoyed her novel about Joshua. You can easily picture his training from her descriptions. Not only does Joshua come to life in your home, but so do the other other characters, namely Moses. (I will definitely search to find her book on Moses.) If you would like to have a good book to relax with, get this one. I enjoy it every time I read it and am constantly getting more out of it each time. I have a hard time lending her books out, I enjoy them that much. I don't really want to take the chance on them not coming back to me. If you enjoy Christian fiction, get this book of hers, and any others that you can.

A great book that is the sequel to Moses. I would recommend reading Moses before this book, as that's when we first start on the Joshua journay. This is a exiciting book, that takes you through some of Joshua's greatest victories, and his struggles. These books are tremendous for bringing the bible characters to life.
