JUNK number nine, a normal and paranormal antique store, was burgled. One of the burglars tipped over a statue of a winged woman. When the employees cleaned up the mess, they discovered a small silver box. Inside was a little piece of white bone, the size of a thumb nail. Along with it was a note written in old French. The bone is all that is left of Joan of Arc, who was burned at the stake May 30, 1431. Nelena Sortier, a French-Canadian woman working at JUNK, has a strong urge to turn it over the church in Rouen, France that is named after Joan of Arc. A splinter radical group finds out about the relic and believes that it holds mystical powers that can help them overthrow the French government. They steal it. Skyer Dawkins (one of the owners of JUNK) and two of her friends decide to go after the culprits and a deadly chase though the underground catacombs of Rouen results. At the same time, Tyler Dawkins (brother to Skyler and owner of JUNK) is in a chase to save a kidnapped woman and her baby. The kidnappers want two valises that contain secret German documents from World War Two. The kidnapping and satchels end up related to Joan of Arc's relic.
