Book Overview

Have you ever wondered what Disney World would be like if it were centered on Jesus instead of cartoon characters? Would it be a good thing? Or would there just be as much fantasy as any other theme... This description may be from another edition of this product.

Loving Discipleship with Challenge or Henry Ford Mass Prod.

Jesus World is an incredible book that contrasts the making of Christians. The main character takes the time honored honest approach and encourages people to become real Christians by living with them and teaching them about Jesus. By comparison, a "Christian" organization desiring "results" and "conversions" builds a gigantic "Christian Theme Park" that portrays many of the Christian and Jewish Histories of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The theme park even "invites" people to commit their lives to Christ at the exit of the park! However the forces of economics and "all inclusiveness" force some new twists on the park. The beauty of the main character is that he primarily teaches about Jesus through his own genuine and caring lifestyle. However the Park boasts of huge "conversion" numbers and success. The conflict converges around the concept of "What is Christianity?" Is it merely transmitted information ( a direct parallel to the 90's) or a radically transformed life that impacts others through love and challenge? A truly fanstastic read. Suitable for adults and teenagers alike. Enjoy !
