Jesus the Christ: A New Testament Portrait

This book is very clear in its interpretations, easy to read and understand. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a clear and insightful way of understanding Jesus, the culture he lived in and what the gospels are tryig to teach. I think that youth though adults would enjoy this book. The following book is a required reading for the Lay Ministry class I am involved with.

Great book!

This book is really good for tying in the scripture and Christology to create a comprehensive story from a Catholic point of view. There are reflection question and points to ponder at the end of each chapter. There is a major focus on the synoptic gospels, but the gospel of John is also discussed throughout the book. I highly recommend this book for those who are seeking to deepen their faith by gaining a better knowledge Jesus Christ.
