This is a wonderful book of patterns, charts, diagrams and color photos for 45 gift and bazaar projects. Lots of fun stuff to sell at school or church fairs. Brush up on the sewing skills though, because this is not the Jean Greenhowe knitted book I thought it was. It was published in 1988, but I think the projects can be updated pretty simply. I don't sew, but I'm going to try to make a few of these projects! I found a pattern for a PURPLE SHELLED TURTLE!!!! These "Tiny Tortoises" are SO cute!! There are Christmas ideas like a nativity set, Christmas stockings, Santa and sleigh. There are; snowmen, clowns and even a PIRATE pencil topper! So, although I was expecting a knitting pattern book, I found a ton of really great ideas with clear enough instructions for a sewing novice. Great book, go for it! 8*)

This book is great!...easy and fun...the colors are encouraging people to knit... also, fun designs to learn how to form easy and simple knit projects... you just need yarn leftover, not a ball of yarn...
