"Chowder" is the most delightful story of a very unique dog who definitely marches to the beat of his own drummer and finds love and acceptance wherever he goes. A great story especially for children who might not fit the accepted mold of who they think they're supposed to be but it's also great for adults. I got this book from our local library for my son and he loved it so much that we renewed it three times already. I am going to buy it for my son's book collection. My son is three and a half year old and he could definitely identified with Chowder's activities, such as using the computer, going to market or discovering dinosaur bone (at children museum). The graphics are clean, fresh and uncluttered. Great book for kids...

Chowder is a book that appeals to all age levels. If you are a dog-lover,this book is for you. If you like books with great humor, this book is for you.
