Oldie but a goodie

Not to be confused with the massive Jane's reference books that are published yearly. This is by the same editor Christopher Foss & publishing co, but is smaller & cheaper.Packs a ton of information in 204 pages, I find it as useful now as when I first bought it. It has the same format, detail, statistics as the larger version. Published in 1983, it is dated, but many of the tanks are still in service today and it is interesting to go back and see what was written back then. The book is very thorough in its detail about each tank from each Nation, varients, who uses what, what modifications each nation made, numbers made. There are no references to APC's or armored cars, just tanks. Not for modelers, no color photos, not enough detail on the tanks, but a great refernce book and still a good addition to one's collection.
