amazing series

You can't read just one book , you have to read them all. I didn't get to read the series in it's intended order, but it's amazing. Two generations of family, in all the books everybody's related . What an imagination, hats off to the author.

I loved this set of books,you get hooked and can't put them down great book.

Superb...

I can't say enough about this series. I absolutely love it. This book is tied (the other being The MacKenzies: Cleve) as my favorite in this series. I was a little disappointed when I saw that "Jake" was the title of this book because from reading David & Peter there was somebody else that I was really hoping for to be with Beth. But, as the say don't judge a book by the cover or should I say "title" in this case. I loved seeing everybody from the previous books & I loved what they did with the Billy Boy Walden Gang. I highly recommend this book. I would recommend reading these books in order though so you have a real understanding of what's going on with the other people in the book. The MacKenzies in order (so far): Luke Flint Cleve David Peter Jake Don't miss this series it's been the best so far & there's still more to come in this series.

Railroad Dreamer Meets Financial Genius

Michael Jacob (Jake) Carrington has to prove himself anew with the fiery professional Miss Beth MacKenzie becomes since their shared weekend. Jake has really fallen for Beth, but now he's got to fix the bridges between them.This book was a joy and pleasure to read because of the author's ability to bring the characters from the previous books (The MacKenzies: David; and Peter) back. Beth's sister Thia and Angie, along with the other colorful characters made me smile. These sisters have such a strong bond of commitment to each other and their respective dreams for hearths and husbands. I recommend this book, along with the other five books from The MacKenzies Series, prior to reading the next book in the series "Josh" which is scheduled for release in the next few months.

GREAT ENDING TO A WONDERFUL SERIES

JAKE WAS A GREAT ENDING TO A WONDERFUL SERIES BY MS. LEIGH. WITH HAVING WRITTEN 5 BOOKS ALREADY IN THIS SERIES, TO COME UP WITH NOT ONLY A BOOK TO KEEP THE SERIES GOING, BUT TO ALSO GIVE IT IT'S OWN STORY WAS A HARD JOB, BUT ONE THAT MS. LEIGH HANDLED GREAT. JAKE AND BETH HAVING MET EARLIER IN THEIR LIVES AND PARTING ON BAD TERMS ONLY TO MEET AGAIN AND AGAIN IN HER SISTER'S STORIES WAS A GOOD TEASE FOR US READERS. WE KNEW SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT BETWEEN THEM, AND WONDERED WHAT IS WAS THAT BETH HATED ABOUT HIM. NOW, WE KNOW, AND SHE HAD A GOOD REASON NOT TO LIKE HIM. I ONLY WISH REVENGE HADN'T PLAYED A PART IN JAKE PLAN TO WOO AND MARRY BETH. BUT, IT ALL WORKED OUT IN THE END. AND TO HAVE LUKE, FLINT AND CLEVE COME TO THE RESCUE WHEN THEIR TWINS WERE KIDNAPPED AND THE BILLY BOB WALDEN GANG TO TURN OUT TO BE GOOD OLD BOYS WAS GENIUS. I ENJOYED THIS SERIES AND CAN'T WAIT FOR MS. LEIGH'S NEXT BOOK.
