Jaffa, one of the oldest cities in Israel, has undergone many changes over the centuries. It was settled at different times by Phoenicians, Romans and Jews. It was repeatedly conquered by various rulers and nations such as the Crusaders, Baybars the Mameluke, the Ottomans, and Napoleon. Each ruler demolished and rebuilt it and only remnants of the construction of Mohammed Abu Nabot, the Turkish ruler of Jaffa, were kept to this day. The tour in Jaffa takes place between the beautiful alleys and ancient buildings. Between morning archeological tours and romantic evening night strolls.
