Great Story!!!!

Jade Marie Sanders is a hardworker and would do anything to protect her family, even if that means keeping secrets about her past. Darrell is a minister in training and also the father of Jade's son Desmond who is so in love with Jade, but she feels she will not be able to return the love and live up to the title as the "preacher's wife" because of her mysterious past. Depending on her faith in God, advice and loving support from her girls Ivy, Sheena and Miranda, will Jade be able to make come face to face with her past? Jade's Dilemma - Lead Us Not Into Temptation (Dilemmas #2) (Dilemmas) is a enjoyable read. With the use of scriptures from the bible, and a beautiful story written I commend Reign for her knack for storytelling. Absolutely incredible. Looking forward to reading Sheena's story. Keep the Faith

I must say this second part of the series had me wanting to throw this book and never pick it up again. However my bestest told me to finish it, it's really a good story, so I did. I am happy I did, I really enjoyed the story after Jade stopped whining. Once Again Ms. Reign delivers a story of love, patience and faith in the man above and everything will fall in place. I especially like reading Reigns stories because all the areas in Camden, NJ she mentions are all places I've been. I am looking forward to the next story in this series, keep up the good work.

Pray, Wait and Listen

We find the four friends, Ivy, Sheena, Jade and Miranda together again, but now it's with Jade's Dilemma. Jade has dug herself into a ditch and does not know how to use the shovel to get out. Darrell and Jade share a child. He is in love with her and wants them to become a family. Jade feels as if she is unworthy of Darrell's love. Because of her past, she is not willing to let it affect his future, so she feels the only way to handle the situation is to run. Jade has been praying and praying to the lord for answers, but she is not listening. She still is trying to handle the situation on her own. Rev. Owens (of all people) gives Jade some useful advice and believe it or not, then she begins to listen. It's a very painful journey for Jade to reveal her past, but after she does, she sees that everything begins to fall into place, or will it??? While reading Jade's Dilemma, you just want to crawl in between the pages and SMACK Jade, forcing her to see the light. I just love Jade's Dilemma as well as Ivy's Dilemma. They are both easy reads that BRING so much reality from everyday life into these books!!! Reign focused on a particular situation in Jade's Dilemma, and I want to personally THANK YOU for it!!! It seems as if we are running into `that' situation a lot lately! I really hate that we're going to have to wait until September in order to read Sheena's Dilemma. Reviewed by: Carmen

Jade's Dilemma: Lead Us Not Into Temptation releases the story of Jade Marie Sanders, whose mystery in Ivy's Dilemma sparked many an interest. Along with being a full-time mother, daughter, sister, friend and semi-girlfriend, Jade is a law student at Rutgers University as well as a tutor for some of the children at Greater Mt. Carmel. Usually the strong one of the group, Jade is finding it harder to mask her feelings for Darrell Parker Jr., her son's father. Darrell is intelligent, kind, gorgeous and if that's not enough, he's getting his doctoral degree in theology. Without a doubt he's her I.B.M. (Ideal Black Man). But, Jade's Dilemma appears to be illuminating all on its own. Frightened about what might lie ahead, Jade deliberates over how much of her past to own up to. Just like in Ivy's Dilemma: Thy Will Be Done, author Reign uses the bible, friendship, love and other people's trials to help light the path in Jade's Dilemma: Lead Us Not Into Temptation. Jade's Dilemma is book number two in the Dilemma series. Readers were given a glimpse at Jade's story in Ivy's Dilemma. Despite her close friendship with Ivy, Miranda and Sheena, Jade is holding back. But they are not the only ones she is not being forthcoming with. Darrell, the father of her son, is in love with her and wants nothing more than for her to become his wife. Jade, haunted by her past, does not feel that she is good enough for Darrell. She has a shocking secret that she would like to remain in the past. Jade is torn between the undeniable urge to do what she feels is right and the inescapable demands of her heart. Little does Jade know, the decision to hide her past may no longer be hers. Will her faith in God, family and friends help her prevail? As with her first book, I was drawn into the story rather quickly. Jade's Dilemma Lead Us Not Into Temptation is a compelling story of one woman's trials and tribulations. While I enjoyed the storyline immensely as well as revisiting characters, I found Jade's Dilemma to be a little too preachy. That said, it was a delight to read. Reign is a gifted storyteller and I look forward to Sheena's Dilemma.
