Very disappointed 😞

I loved this book (and the movie!) as a kid and even 40+ years later I have often thought about it and wanted a copy of my own. The story is great and a lot of fun but I was very unhappy with the purchse. Despite that your website's item description clearly stated that it was a library copy and it didn't have a dust jacket, I assumed the picture of the book you provided was accurate. With the given photo you had for the item, and it being a children's book, I expected a hardcover that was printed with the same cover art that would have been on any missing dust jacket as many picture books are. So I was very disappointed when I received a completely plain hard cover book. If your picture had been accurate I would have purchased a different edition of the book. You had several items available and I could have ordered a paperback with cover art over a hard cover with no art at all. I feel really misled by your inaccurate photos.

A JACOB TWO-TWO REVIEW

Jacob Two-Two is one of the most imaginative stories I've read in a while. It reminds of being a kid in my carefree days. I have actually watered my mom's flowers an hour after she had and flooded her flowerbeds. Basically, the story is about a 6 year-old boy who repeats everything twice just to be heard because he's the youngest out of five. Because he wants to be helpful, he wants to run an errand for the first time. He goes to Mr. Cooper, the greengrocer to get two pounds of firm, red tomatoes. After insulting Mr. Cooper (he didn't really insult Mr. Cooper, Mr. Cooper was just teasing him, but Jacob doesn't know that), he ran into Richmond Park to hide from the police. He was afraid the police might send him to jail for insulting a big person. Then, in Richmond Park he falls asleep into a crazy dream with the Hooded Fang, two super heroes, and a children's prison.

An Exciting Read-Aloud

As an elementary teacher, I have found this fun and hilarious book to be a younger "Harry Potter". "Jacob Two-Two" is straightforward, human, and vivid. It highlights the themes of empathy, independence, and power--a strong message about the value of every individual. I would highly recommend it for any child from grades 1-4. Excellent!

Everything Two Times

Jacob Two Two is ignored the first time, so he says itagain. One day he gets yelled at by green grocer. Running home he runshimself into more trouble By going to " SLIMERS ISLAND WHERE NO BRATS RETURN". I think you'll enjoy this book I give it 5 stars. If you want to know more you have to read the book yourself.

Jacob Two-Two's Review

If you like lots of laughs and humor, you'll like Jacob Two-Two! Jacob says everything two times because if he says it once,no one will listen. When he goes out on his first errand he gets in trouble and ends up in a jail cell. The judge sends him to Slimer's Isle. Jacob sends a letter asking for help, but I won't tell you any MORE!

The Two-Two Review

Jacob Two-Two is 2+2+2 years old. Jacob says everything twice. So when he asks Mr. Cooper for two pounds of firm red tomatoes twice, Mr Cooper thinks he is insulted and Jacob finds himself on Slimers Isle, home of the Hooded Fang. If you like to laugh, and love to smile you'll love Jacob Two-Two Meets The Hooded Fang.
