Jack's Farm is one of the best books that I have ever read. It appealed to me on so many different levels that I would recommend this novel to anyone. Jack's Farm to me is a story of love, companionship, marriage, friendship and true respect for others and the world around us. The author, Joan Levy Earle, did such an excellent job of portraying her story that I could close my eyes and see the farm, the people and the love surrounding them. It made me treasure the ones closest to me. This book is one to be cherished!
A gladsome memoir

Rebeccasreads highly recommends JACK'S FARM as a walk down a Canadian woman's memory lane of her husband, her marriage, her work, the abandoned farm they found in the oak forest, & her love of God. With its gladsome cover & its hardcover pocket-size, JACK'S FARM is a rare gem of a memoir, quietly & gently written, with much self-reflection on the joy of discovery, marital blossoming, trials & tribulations, & letting God take the wheel. Elegantly presented JACK'S FARM is a profoundly satisfying read, radiantly written, of a woman's flowering, a flourishing of a marriage, a thriving of a spirit. It will bring gladness to all who wander into its pages, especially widows facing solitude & grief, yearning for an opening to God's grace.
