This is beautiful, sweet book about a little boy who's outshadowed by his noisy family, and how he learns to find his voice -- the pictures are winsome and bursting w/ personality, and there's real humor in there too. The fact that these illustrations are digital just astounds me -- I would never have known, and they have all the delicacy and beauty of traditional ink & watercolors.
An engaging story of finding a voice that's heard.

Jack is very quiet, but the rest of his family is very noisy. So when he tells them he's leaving, nobody hears him - and when night falls, nobody knows where he is. How can Jack's loud family find him? Jessica Meserve's CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME? will appeal to any soft-spoken child in a loud world, and is an engaging story of finding a voice that's heard.
