The best comic book ever

This is the best comic book ever. Im not a comic book geek, but i must admit that this book is great. The story is base in a real worl with no other "Special" like the Marvel universe or DC comic story line. That's what make the story even more attractive of how us, normal peaple, will react if a group of Special human would come to be and how they live in a wold with judgement and prejudisim that we live in.This 3 act story line is greatFist act: Who the Specials are2th act: What they do in the world3th act: How the rest of the world react to what they do

best fiction yet

i think that Rising Stars: Ten Years After is the best fictional book i have read yet.(other than the first Rising Stars book) this book keeps me on the edge of my seat. J.M.S. is a very good fiction writer. After I finish this book and the last one of the the trilogy, I want to read other books of his.

Dark and moody

I'm not a huge fan of books written in the first person, but I sure did enjoy this one. The way the main character was portrayed helped make the whole book believable, and supplied a dark, moody, and gritty feel to the whole story. This story actually made the world of super-heroes seem believable. I say it's a good read if you like the Batman gothic scene.

Wonderfully amazing

This is one of the best books that I have read in a long while. It's a very simple read, but it is also very captivation and is filled with much excitement. A few weeks ago I stumbled across the first book while looking around in a local book store, and since then have passed it on to a few friends who love it as much as I did. Before I had finished the first, I had already ordered the second. This book has surpassed the expectations I had for it, because the first book is nothing more than a plot setup, although a spectacular one, but in this book, the action really starts. I have taken note in some of the reviews where people gripe about this book because it doesn't compair to the comic book series, but as of yet I haven't read the comic, so as a stand-alone novel, it is amazing. My one and only complaint, which for the most part is over shadowed by the greatness of the story, is that the person that reviewed it for typos did a horrible job. They drove me crazy, but again, despite the typos, this was one heck of a book. Hence the five stars. If you haven't read the comic book series, I highly suggest this book. Of course you should read the first book first, if for no other reason then to get to the greatness that is the second book.
