Great Vintage Book

I really enjoy this book. Although much of the content is dated, it grew my appreciation for the skills of past generations. There is a good deal on information regarding techniques with hand tools, and while this is much less applicable in today’s age of technology, the information was worthwhile nonetheless. My greatest interest in this book are the project plans. There are great illustrations for multiple projects that are “built like they used to” meaning the construction is maybe more tedious, but they are sure to last. Many of the designs will be applicable to future projects. Well worth the buy considering one illustration can inspire a new project or save the expenses of a mistake. That’s my philosophy!
