A nice collection of stories for about the middle-school level

Erin Turner has collected twenty-four stories of Yellowstone's history in this book. They are written at a level appropriate for about middle school kids. However, adults who want an easy introduction to the park, or who want to read these stories to younger children, may also enjoy the book. Most are anecdotes but some are miniature historical narratives such as the building of the Golden Gate road or the reintroduction of wolves. The wolf chapter, and a couple of others, might serve as a good basis for family discussions or for classroom debates.
