This book was written with the ordinary people in mind. Every day people who just need to know what islam is from the perspective of someone who lives in it. The book does a good job in describing the spirit behind islam and why moslems do what they do. It has several references to the koran and duely analysis it for the reader without the complication of trying to make the reader chew the koran verse. A must read book for all who live elsewhere outside the nations with a strong moslem influence.
