Well worth the consideration for any scholar, professional or amateur, or the Abrahamic religions

Could Jesus really be the Messiah that was prophesied? "Is Yeshua the Prophesied Messiah of the Hebrew Bible?" is an scholarly research of the Hebrew Torah and its own prophecies regarding the Jewish Messiah. Stating that Jesus, also referred to as Yeshua in some texts, does share some of the qualities that were said the Jewish messiah said to have, Dan Kane offers much insight to this religious debate and its impact on history and on the Christian and Jewish traditions. "Is Yeshua the Prophesied Messiah of the Hebrew Bible?" is well worth the consideration for any scholar, professional or amateur, or the Abrahamic religions.

Yeshua the Mashiach - Prophecy Fullfilled?

The title of Dan Kane's book asks the question "Is Yeshua the Prophesied Messiah?" Kane examines a number of Old Testament prophecies concerning Jesus to answer this question. He references prophecies from Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, and Zechariah to shed light on whether Jesus fulfilled any or all of them. Kane's work is significant, worthy of serious study. His presentation of material is organized in a logical order, is well researched, and clearly articulated. He uses an analytical approach in his study of the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, and of ancient Jewish writings. I found the time line of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus helpful in establishing His authenticity as the promised Messiah. Highlights of Kane's study include a look into the role of the Roman Catholic Church in the writing of Jewish rabbis and on the teaching and traditions ingrained in many Christian denominations today. There are those who will take exception to Kane's conclusions and charge him with not being objective in his approach. However, Bible Scholars, Pastors, and layman will find the book "Is Yeshua The Prophesied Messiah of the Hebrew Bible?" a valuable addition to the subject of Messianic Judaism in their resource library for in-depth study and ongoing reference.
