Valid Questions Raised

While reading this book I also checked into the Old Testament of the Standard Edition and I could find most the references the author made in this book. While I do not know if she has provided the right answers, I find the questions she raised valid and warrant serious consideration.

Don't let the "flippant" title throw you!

THIS IS NOT A UFO BOOK!! PLEASE, PLEASE, don't let the title keep you from reading this wonderful book. Dorothy Leon or probably her publishers must have used this title as an "eye catcher - attention grabber," but it definitely belies the seriousness of this SUBJECT MATTER, the EXPERT SCHOLARSHIP, and THE BLUE-RIBBON FINAL PRODUCT. If you, like me, have never been able to understand the "Old Testament" with its strange and mystical happenings, and especially actions of a Vindictive and Pompous god. Is it possible that the GOD of the Old Testament is NOT OUR SUPREME CREATOR?? Was "Jehovah" one of several "tribal gods" - who were the gods of the "Religions" (Judaism, Islam, Christianity...) but not the Divine Creator and architect of the Universes? Would this not help explain the basic problems (past & present) with our religious paths and the priests and holy men leading them? Is it possible that Jesus who held the "office of the Christ" came to reintroduce the true God - the God of love, compassion, and forgiveness? He taught of a God and Holy Spirit that could be reached through each person going within to his/her personal temple (body), and did not require priests, churches, alters, and animal sacrifice. He reduced the 12 Laws of Moses to "love your neighbor as you do yourself." This book is well researched, documented, meticulously footnoted, and has a noteworthy bibliography. Open your eyes and ears, and give this outstanding work of scholarship a chance. Good reading and blessings. B.

This is an excellent book. Dorothy Leon is amazing! You will never look at God, the Bible and religion the same after reading this book. Her knowledge and research are impeccable. Recommended for all seekers of higher truth!
